What Easter Really Is...

04 April 2010 (Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA)

What Easter really is, is the moment when Man awakens as God.

Whilst Man believes that death means shedding the body at the end of his life, it is in fact a mere change of garment. The body is impermanent and is bound to perish one day or another, but the Soul and the mind do not die even after going through what we call physical 'death'. So what is this event called 'death' that is mentioned in the Bible? It must be something of significance for it to be mentioned so many times. The Bible states that "except you be born again, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven". The wise man continued by giving the example that "as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up". In this world of duality, as there can be no light without darkness, there can also be no birth without death. Therefore, to be 'born' again, you must 'die'; this is Law.

The serpent mentioned in the example is no ordinary one. We must be able to understand the text four-dimensionally to fully grasp its spiritual significance. A serpent is a metaphor used to explain the process of endless self-growth. Just like the serpent that sheds its skin without actually physically 'dying', Man too should grow spiritually by shedding his old limited beliefs. You 'die' by discarding your current beliefs regarding your circumstances or even life itself, so that you may be lifted to the belief of the ideal you want to be.

Along the same chapter, Man is also reminded that "except you be born of water and the spirit, ye can in no wise enter the kingdom of heaven". Now, we all know that water is a substance that assumes the form of its container, regardless of what it is. Similarly, Spirit is infinite and is ever flowing, and it is the Mind of Man that expresses the Spirit into form.

Therefore, it is not wrong to say that the beliefs and assumptions within our minds will objectify themselves as our experiences in life. So determine for yourself the exact ideal that you would like to live in your world. Meditate upon this within, and by doing so, you are turning to your saviour, your Jesus Christ.

"When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then, your Father, who sees everything, will reward you." (Matthew 6:6)

Disengage yourself from your physical senses, and visualise 'privately' within your mind with all intensity of your four-dimensional senses of the ideal you so desire. The Great White Spirit that is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent shall then take the form that you have shaped within. When you do this, the concept of your 'old self' has to die to make way for the birth of the new 'you'. That is what we call Easter; to die and to be resurrected.

Therefore, Easter is not a yearly celebrated event, but a daily one. The consciousness and awareness of Man are ever expanding. So always remember, my dear students... that I am not the flesh that I wear. It is but a temporary suit that I put on during my journey here on the physical plane. This body is now mine and in time, I will be saying it was mine when I go through a process known as physical death. But, it is still not 'I'. This is the same for all of you.
